Jeremiah Wright was Obama’s pastor on his church during a lot of years. Some of his speeches are now publicly known and considered to be racist, lunatic and so forth.

The problem is, 80% of what he says is spot on.

And the style… confrontational, blunt. Something WASPs are not used to (unless, of course, when it comes from WASP bigots in the real sense of bigot, where it becomes acceptable and a tribute to free speech).

Irrespective of the style (which is also not my preferred), most of what he says is at least very sensible.

Sebastião Salgado is a Brazilian photographer mostly known for in photographs depicting works and the people of developing nations. His work really strikes a chord with me. Its strong, poetic, real, … I don’t know… Check it out and decide for yourself…
